It started
with Penny.
Our Boston terrier.
Our original icon.
Penny is our silly, high-energy Boston terrier. My wife and I created an iconic portrait of her to keep in our home, a tribute to our girl and the personality we love.
That portrait inspired Penny’s Pet Portraits. We wanted other pet owners to have the same thing: a portrait that feels like their pet and looks beautiful in their home.

What to know before you start.
Will it look like my pet?
We use your photo and check the result against it. AI can miss details, so compare the portrait with your photo. You can create another version if needed.
Which photo should I use?
Use a clear, well-lit photo of one pet. Show the whole head and ears. Avoid filters and blurry photos. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 16 MB and at least 700 pixels on each side.
Can I change the portrait?
Yes. Change the name, caption, size or frame anytime. Turn off “Add a name” for a centred portrait without text. Choose “Try another style” to create a new portrait from the same photo.
What are the prints and frames made from?
We use archival fine art paper and best-in-class printing for rich colour and fine detail. Our modern solid wood frames are designed to last, with clean lines that make a style statement. Choose natural wood, dark wood, black or white and your portrait comes framed. You can also choose a print on its own.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Choose a framed portrait and it arrives fully assembled in your solid wood frame, ready to hang. Protective packaging helps keep it safe in transit. Packaging varies by print partner.
What sizes can I choose?
Small is 8 × 10 inches, medium is 12 × 16 and large is 16 × 20. Try all three in the portrait studio, with a natural wood, dark wood, black or white frame, or without a frame.
How is the portrait made?
AI turns your photo into a portrait in your chosen style. It is not painted by hand.
Are my portraits saved?
Your portraits are saved in this browser when storage is available. They will not appear on other devices. Open a portrait and choose “Remove this portrait” to delete it.
